Probably one of the best ice creams out there — all the way from Prince Edward Island, now here in Halifax!

This tourist from a western province had never heard of Cows before visiting Halifax and didn't realize it was a chain when we popped in. Regardless, the ice cream was great and the kids found flavours they loved. This location was a bit grimy but that seems pretty standard for everything along this street.

COWS in Halifax was a highlight of our trip! The atmosphere was fun, the staff were friendly, and the locations were easy to find. I had the Peanut Butter Cup Cup ice cream—absolutely delicious! Rich, creamy, and full of flavour. If you’re in Halifax, this is a treat spot you don’t want to miss.

I went here with my friends of color to test the DEI allegations I’ve been seeing in some of the bad reviews here. When we got there, the moment we walked in one of the employees pointed out my friend of color and told him they don’t serve his kind! Could you believe that? Just kidding! Happy to say me (white) and my friends of color were not only treated equally, but we were all treated phenomenally. We were allowed multiple free samples and the employees gave us recommendations with smiles on their face. Ice cream was great and so was the service. Additionally, 3 of the 4 employees were those of color, and they were all working together to serve us ice cream. Allegations have been beaten.
